Straight out of rural North Eastern Victoria (Milawa to be precise), Matthew still finds pretty much everything about the city (like trams, crowds and non-inbred children) strange and confusing. In an attempt to understand this bewildering new place, he has taken to studying Politics at Monash University.

In the latter part of 2009 he wrote a number of both satirical and serious articles for Lot’s Wife, as well as a swag of CD reviews. His time writing for this newspaper allowed him the opportunity to successfully ride the coattails of other more ambitious and original writers right into a sub-editorship at News Hit. Who knows where his insipid and overly mediocre writing will take him next?
